Jane Jacobs Walk: Lights at Night

Observe SLC's night sky and learn about how light pollution effects health, wildlife, and energy costs. This walk will focus on downtown SLC, specifically it's lighting pros and cons regarding light pollution.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring your questioning brain! Jane Jacobs devotee Kat Nix and Dark Sky Maven Jess Dwyer will meet you at the Downtown SLC Harmon's (meet on the Cafe Level by southern windows). Kids welcome, all participants should be able to walk or roll at least 2 miles on paved surfaces at 2mph.

RSVP here.
